Roku link code
A visible problem
You bought a Roku player, but have a small problem. You are not able to retrieve the Roku link code. Let’s explore the issue a little bit more. You just happened to buy a new player a few months ago and later, created an account on the Roku site.

Roku link code
Private channel
Now, if you have to add a private channel, you cannot do so unless your Roku box is linked. For this, you have to obtain a Roku.com/link Code. It is not quite like accessing a Channel Store or making a software update. It is a step further. Your box seems to be working fine when you watch a popular channel like Netflix. Then again, adding a private channel is a problem because you do not have a link code. There is a way to get a link code even after the box has been in service for a while. This solution also holds true when you haven’t written down the code the first time it was displayed, because you didn’t think that you might need it at a later date.
Interesting and easy solution
The solution is not that difficult actually. If you already have an account on Roku, then you only need a link code for that particular private channel and not the player as a whole.
- First, go over to your PC and Log into your Roku account
- Here, click on ‘Add Private Channel’
- Then enter the code that is being displayed for that channel
- The next time you enter the Channel Store on the player, you will see that the private channel has been added
- When you log out of the player and log in again, the Roku automatically syncs the info present in your account on the website
Getting separate channel codes
Specific private channels get different codes since these are not set up for general distribution. The Roku box automatically features all the public channels in its channel store. Hidden private codes are available to add private channels that are provided by the channel developer. When you enter them into your Roku account on the website, these channels are simply enabled. But these are still not released publicly and just stay for your viewing on the box.
Most of the time, a solution is immediately available for a problem pertaining to your link code. But if you are unable to progress any further call us at +1-877-302-5260 or look into www.myrokucom-link.com for more information.
